As the industry caught on and Apple’s accountants eagerly started rubbing their hands with glee, the other leading computer and mobile phone companies sat up and took note. One of the best things about this Dell tablet that wasn’t a part of the initial iPad design is video chat. Video chat comes built in to this Dell tablet through a front-facing panel cam and Qik software. The problem is , though, that you won’t be able to communicate with thoseothers who don’t use the same Streak 7 tablet, or something compatible. So there is no a universal video chat app available. Another perk is that the Streak 7 tablet features Blockbuster’s On Demand service. We’re not so sure that this is a terrific feature, after all, because of the problems Blockbuster is having lately.
Reviews right now are few, but it does seem that people are skeptical as to the reasons why this product was introduced. It isn’t an extensive tablet – it doesn’t have the capability to communicate between non Streak-compatible devices so its functionality is quite limited. Nonetheless, if you are desperate for a tablet computer and you have a small budget, this may be a good way to get used to the technology and figure out if tablets really are for you. Bearing in mind the aforementioned caveats, make sure you think about your purchase carefully prior to committing your money.
